Samuel Bhatti is the founder and program lead of Azadi Freedom, a social inclusion and human rights initiative operating under the Education and Life Foundation (EFL). Azadi Freedom works to empower communities facing social, economic, or cultural marginalization in Pakistan by promoting equitable access to education, skills development, sustainable livelihoods, and social services. The program contributes directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including No Poverty (SDG 1), Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).Azadi Freedom provides vocational training, micro-business support, and skills development, enabling individuals to achieve financial independence, resilience, and long-term well-being.
Samuel brings a unique combination of academic knowledge and practical experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Theology and has supported underprivileged children, youth, and refugee populations in Pakistan. He also served as the director of a German non-profit organization for 2.5 years, gaining experience in international development, organizational management, and cross-cultural collaboration.
As a native of Pakistan, Samuel offers in-depth understanding of local challenges while guiding programs that are inclusive, rights-based, and sustainable, empowering individuals to live with dignity and self-reliance.
