Report: Sexual Abuse of Women and Children in Pakistan

Sexual abuse remains a deeply troubling issue in Pakistan, with alarming statistics and frequent reports highlighting the gravity of the situation. According to data from the National Commission for Human Rights, around 63,000 cases of gender-based violence, including sexual abuse, were reported in the past three years. However, experts believe that many cases go unreported due to societal stigma and a lack of support mechanisms for survivors
Children are especially vulnerable, with reports indicating that over 2,200 cases of child sexual abuse were documented in 2022 alone. Factors such as poverty, lack of education, and cultural taboos contribute to the persistence of this issue. Women, too, face high rates of sexual violence, often exacerbated by weak law enforcement and the absence of victim-centric justice systems

We collaborate with educational institutions to help them implement policies and procedures that create a safe environment, free from sexual abuse.
